SUMMARY Walter G. Alton, Jr., formed Walter G. He even wrote a book for them, Malpractice: A Trial Lawyer's Advice for Physicians (How to Avoid, How to Win), Little, Brown; 1977. His unique understanding of physicians continues to serve him as a plaintiff's attorney. Because he is able to appeal to their value system, he can persuade the most highly regarded doctors, who ordinarily would not come to court, to testify on behalf of his clients. This understanding also is invaluable when it comes to cross-examination of physicians who testify against his clients.
